What this site collects, and what it does not.

Norteira builds and runs local photography marketplaces. We are based in Lisboa, Portugal, and you can reach us at [email protected].

This page covers norteira.com only. Photo Portugal, Photo Spain, Photo Italy, Photo Greece, Photo France, Photo Austria, Photo Iceland and Photo Japan are separate sites with their own policies and their own accounts.

Nothing. No analytics, no tracking scripts, no cookies set by us. If you close the banner without answering, it stays that way.

We load Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies and tells us how many people visited, which pages they read, roughly where they were and what device they used. It is aggregate traffic measurement — we do not use it to identify anyone, and we run no advertising or remarketing tags on this site.

Google processes that data as our provider. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which removes both the analytics cookies and your stored answer, so the banner asks again.

Your name, email, country, city, portfolio link and message are emailed to us. This site has no database, so nothing from that form is stored on it.

We use it for one thing: to contact you when we open the market you shoot in. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a newsletter. Ask us and we will delete it.

Our host and Cloudflare keep short-lived technical logs — IP address, request time, user agent — to serve the site and block abuse. That happens for every website and is not something we can switch off, but we do not analyse those logs.

Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to us using it. Write to [email protected] and we will answer.
